Triyuginarayan, which translates to The Lord of the Three Aeons, is a small sacred village in foothills of the Indian Himalayas. According to Hindu mythology this is the site of the celestial wedding between Shiva and Parvati. This series captures the locals behind this priestly community, and the dramatic landscapes that surround them. The photographer spent 3 weeks in the Uttarakhand region living in the communities whilst filming the anthropological documentary Mountain, Priest, Son.
The original series of 15 framed prints debuted in exhibition as part of the University of Sheffield's Festival of the Mind 2018. Some are currently still for sale.
